Hallo,
stimmt das ?
Participle clauses :
Benutzung und Bildung:
1. Mit „while“ (während) und „when“ (als, sobald)
- While/ When + - ing Form + restlicher Nebensatz + Hauptsatz
2. Um zwei Hauptsätze, welche durch ein „und“ verbunden sind zu verkürzen
- I eat ice and I hear music = I eat ice, hearing music
- Erster Teilsatz + -ing Form + restlicher zweiter Teilsatz
- !!! Aber nur wenn sich die Person nicht ändert
3. Anstatt von Relativsätzen
- There is a woman that eats a cake = There is a woman eating cake
- Hauptsatz + -ing Form + Nebensatz + (Hauptsatz)
4. Für Verben die eine Wahrnehmung ausdrücken
- Z.B see, hear, feel, smell, notice
- I smelled something cooking
- Verb der Wahrnehmung + - ing Form + Rest vom Satz
5. Um einen Grund zu nennen
- We come from Sydney, which is why we find the weather in FNQ strange =
(Wie heißt der Satz?)
!!! Man kann die „participle clauses“ für jede Zeitform einsetzen!!!
(Kann ich es immer so benutzen, auch wenn das eine Ereignis vorzeitig ist und das andere nicht?)
Liebe Grüße und einen schönen Abend noch!
