Liebe Community, wir haben im Fach Englisch den Auftrag erhalten, einen "Travel Blog" über den pazifischen Nordwesten zu verfassen. Nun frage ich euch, ob der folgende Text angemessen ist. Hello guys and gals! Welcome to the first part of my Pacific Northwestern journey.
Our trip started off in Pierre, South Dakota. From the airport, we took a 7-hour non-stop flight to Seattle. It was my first time flying business class - my family and I were so excited!
Once we arrived, we wanted to find our hotel. Let me tell you, Seattle is chaotic - my brother was very annoyed by all the traffic! Once we put the luggage in our room, we decided to visit the Space Needle. Since my mom is a fan of city skylines, she really enjoyed it!
After all the huge crowds, we wanted to find some peace so we drove to a nearby lake. We hiked up quite a lot of hills and it was absolutely rewarding - a scenic view was shown to us. Some ducks were wandering around and I decided to share my sandwich with them - they were so cute!
After that, we went back to the city and visited the "Pike Place Market". To be honest, I don't really remember what exactly they did there - something with salmon, I believe. It was really fun talking to the people who came here but also to the people who have their roots here, anyways.
It was getting late and we decided to top the day off by visiting an exquisite restaurant. My brother was really amazed by all the unique steaks!
That was the entirety of our first day - it was lovely.
