Wie benutze ich Repoorted Speech bei einer Summary (Zusammenfassung), wenn ich mitteilen will, was der Autor erzählt? Muss ich Backshift of Tenses machen oder nicht und welche Zeit benutze ich ?

Ich bin in der 9. Klasse und wir schreiben bald eine Klassenarbeit in Englisch Thema Summary. Kennt ihr vllt. Übungstexte?:) lg:))

Hallo ich hatte als Hausaufgabe auf eine Summary über die Aborigines zu schreiben und wollte mal fragen ob die so korrekt wäre:

This is a summary about the history of the Aborigines in Australia. Before 1788 the Europeans arrive in Australia the Aborigines live very happy in family groups as hunters, fishermen and gathers. But the Europeans brought new illnesses and shot many Aborigines because they wanted the land where the Aborigines live for their farms. Thats only two reasons for the death of many Aborigines. After 1788 they must live in special areas and half cast children were given to white people to grow up on the ´white´ way. Today Aborigines often discriminated and the Australian Gonverment trying to make the life for Aborigines better.

Wäre echt toll wenn ihr mir sagen könntet ob das so korrekt ist, da ich mir sehr unsicher bin.

Hallo ich weiß nicht so recht wie der Schluss einer Summary geschrieben werden soll.. beispiele wären toll!! Ich bräuchte heute noch unbedingt eine antwort!! Mfg

Ich schreibe am nächsten Montag eine Englischarbeit. Ich bin in der 9. Klasse. Wir bekommen eine Kurzgeschichte oder etwas in der Art mit offenem Ende und müssen dazu dann eine Summary, eine Charakterisierung von einer Person und eine Ende schreiben. Da ich in letzter Zeit immer gut damit gefahren bin, vorher die Texte vorzuschreiben, würde ich dies auch diesmal gerne machen. Allerdings finde ich keinen passenden Text.Es wäre super wenn jemand einen passenden Text kennen würde und villeicht noch ein paar Tipps geben würde. Im Unterricht haben wir The Outbak aus dem Buch English G21 A5 bearbeitet.

wir schreiben bald ein arbeit über eine summary, dazu gehört: einleitungssatz, charaktere beschreiben, SETTING, inhalt. ich weiß aber nicht was in setting rein kommt. kann mir jemand bitte dabei helfen?? :)

gibts noch andere möglichkeiten außer "the text is about..."?

Hey, was kann ich in einem Summary für Wörter oder Konstruktionen benutzen, dass die Sätze nicht so eintönig und doof klingen. Ich mein, es klingt nicht besonders schön wenn man jeden einzelnen Satz mit HE; HE; HE; HE; HE; HE; HE; beginnt.

Ich freue mich über jeden Vorschlag.

hallo, ich schreibe am freitag eine englischarbeit, in der eine summary vorkommt. (klasse 7) ich weiß, dass man diese eigentlich in present schreiben muss aber muss man sie wirklich durchgängig im present schreiben? ich finde es dumm denn der text spielt im past und es hört sich komisch an wenn man das alles ins present setzt ... darf man teilweise auch past verwenden?

beispielsatz: in the late 1870s they lived in jacobs valley in idaho ...

ich finde es würde sich komisch anhören wenn man den in der summary plötzlich im present schreiben müsste, da es ja eindeutig 1870 war und keine gegenwart... vielen dank schon mal vorweg

Was bedeuten die einzelnen Buchstaben beim tattsatz ? Das erste t Titel das a Autor Das zweite t Thema ?? Und was das 4. ? Kann mir bitte jemand helfen

In Chapter 3 of the novel „No Tigers in Africa“, written by Norman Silver, published in 1990, the main character Selwyn explains his familiar situation, especially the difficult relationship between his father and his mother, and his resulting problems by comparing the events in Bristol with those in South Africa. The action is set at Bristol in the present and the narrator remembers details of his dormer life in South Africa.

At the beginning Selwyn tells about how hard his father works, so that they could have the same standard of living as they had in Africa. However he says that for his mother the situation is difficult too, because in Africa she used to have a good life with lots of friends, but not in England. In addition he criticises how difficult it is to make friends in England in contrast to Africa and says because of that problem, his mother is not (oder no?) longer her old self, she is uncertain. Besides that he compares the situation in England with their move from Cape Town to Johannesburg, when he was seven. Selwyn admits that he needs time to “arrive”, but that the time, when they settle to Joburg, was actually more easy than settle to this country. After he mention he often skips school and goes to a place where he could see the gorge and the suspension bridge, however he hears that that bridge is a favourite place for suicides and finds similarities to his situation. Thereafter the narrator speaks about Brunel and the Voortrekker Monument which was built because of the victory of the whites over the blacks years ago in South Africa. Moreover he describes his feelings when he stays at the gorge at this time by comparing it with the thoughts he had when he looked over the railway of the Voortrekker monument, because there was a voice in his had, saying he should jump. However the voice means that he should jump over the cliffs inside him .He concludes that he needs to built such a bridge, metaphoric meaning, inside him. On top of that Selwyn tells when he walks once from gorges to the market, where he is instead of school often too, one day he recognizes his mother who is cheating on his dad with a black man. This is a big shock for him. The boy tries to explain his feelings, says he is confused and cannot believe what has happened. Selwyn describes his condition by comparing it with the a ground which has opened under his feet, describes that it is deeper than the liftshaft his dad fell down once at Christmas after he has drunk too much. Finally Selwyn feels very bad and sick, basically helpless and lost, he does not know what to do and starts to be silent again.

Also dies was jetzt folgt ist eine eher schlechte Summary wie ich finde aber zu meiner Verteidigung hatte auch nicht sehr viel zeit Wäre schön wenn ihr mir schnellstmöglichst(da ich es morgen abgeben muss) mit Verbesserungsvorschlägen helfen könntet

The lost girl

The folk tale 'The lost girl' is about a family on a north Island with a daughter, who disappeared.One day the father and his sons come to a beautiful house on an island. A man, who lives in the house and invite them, introduce them his wife, who is the lost girl. They was very happy to see her again! After the man ask the father, if he has cows to sell, but he must tell him the way to get here. The man says, that he will come and get a cow. As exchange the father can choose anything, that he would like. Then they go home and the cow was dead!

Hey, hab 'nen Summary zu dem Buch "Speak" auf englisch geschrieben, kann mir jemand sagen ob da Fehler sind? Hört sich nämlich übelst scheiße an, finde ich. :D

Summary The novel „Speak“ by Laurie Halse Anderson is about a girl, called Melinda Sordino who has been raped at a summer party and has then called the police. It tells about how her „friends“ react after holidays and how she lost her voice and comes along with all.

The party has been given by one of Melinda’s friends. At the moment she has been raped she has called the police to help her but when they arrived they only find many drunken teenagers with illegal alcohol. After holiday in High School she becomes an Outcast because nobody of her ex-friends knows what has really happened. The ‚raper’ is on the same school as she is, so it’s really hard for her to forget everything. She makes and looses new friends and spends this terrible year with realizing the whole situation and finding her voice back which she has lost as a result of her trauma to tell the truth. Only her art teacher notices that she is a nice and talented girl.

Hallo, ich muss als Englischhausaufgabe einen Summary (Inhaltsangabe) von einem Sachtext machen. Leider weiß ich nicht genau, wie das bei einem Sachtext geht. Wäre nett, wenn mir jemand helfen kann. Danke

Hallo (: In ein paar Tagen schriebe ich eine Arbeit in Englisch übers "summary schreiben" ich habe jetzt eine geschrieben nur kann die mir keiner korrigieren, da dacte ich, ihr könntet mir helfen. The story 'Only a game' written by Elizabeth Smith, is about Robert and Tom, who are on a trip to Funland, Trocadero. As Robert and Tom arrive in Trocadero, they decide to go to Funland. The two boys are really excited and Tom proposes to try out a virtual reality game. Robert joins him and they are putting on the helmets to start the game. Robert and Tom chose to play in year 1888, the time when 'Jack the Ripper' killed very much people. Robert gets scared. It is getting to realistic to him because they can smell dead fishes, feel cold bricks and suddely a shadow comes near them. Robert is afraid. He assumes that 'Jack the Ripper' comes after them. But they are lucky: the shadow is just the shadow of a flower girl, whose mother was the last victim of 'Jack the Ripper'. Tom throws his arms around the girl and suddenly they hear a man shouting. He says that Tom should get off the girl and the rest of the people who arrive, are thinking that the two boys are the murders, who killed all the people. Tom and Robert are afraid and they are taking off their helmets to leave the game. But nothing changes. They are still in the game... or has it become reality?

Guten Abend...da ich meine Probleme hab in Sachen Summary würde ich gerne ein paar tipps von euch hören um Struktur/Wortwahl etc. bzw verbesserungsvorschläge.

Summary: The next citizenship test written by Raveena Aulakh in December 2010 deals with the topic of harder rest for Canadian immigrants.

It will be new and difficulty citizenship test introduced. The outraged Canadians discuss internet on radio and tv shows about the test, they think many of immigrants have been passed the old citizenship because it was too easy and the answers were simply to memorizing learning. At first the test will be difficulty and many immigrants failed on the lessons to 30%. Officials revised the old rules of the test and make it a little bit easier than the default rate was by 20%. Canadians also only have the test done with 90% (18/20 questions) . Many of the Canadian test persons failed on the same question it is that tripped up almost everyone was on who can vote in federal elections. Every year 150000 immigrants take the test, each of the failed can retry the test.

Hello English freaks :D Ich habe einen kleinen Text über "Caribbean London" vorbereitet. Über Feedback, Kritik und Korrekturen würde ich mich freuen :)

There are many British citizens who have their own countries belonging to the Commonwealth. Black people maily came from the Caribbean. Afro-Caribbeans are slaves from Africa who were transported to the Caribbean by British ships. In 1807, Britain stopped the slave trade.

London has been completely changed by the Caribbean people. They have influenced the social, economic and cultural life in London.

After the World War II, the British economy needed workers.The Caribbeans settled to London in larger numbers in the late 1940s to rebuild a post-war nation in London, they came with passion and excitement. But they had to face a different Britian and were very disappointed; Founding a home was not that easy. The rooms were often in bad condition and the rents were high. They had to do work with low wages that nobody else wanted to do. Police protection was not adequate so they had to deal with physical and verbal abuse.

Thus they developed selg-help organisations. Later, they created their own first Black newspaper "The voice".

They achieved their own buisness in London, running their own shops, restaurant or nightclubs. Others have achieved high postions in public life. The strength of the Caribbean peopel can be felt everywhere in London.
