Going to oder will future?
,,A friend asked me if we could call in my holidays and of course I said yes since I am not going to have/won‘t have school.“ Ich finde going to hört sich hier falsch an, aber es steht ja fest, dass ich in meinen Ferien keine Schule haben werde. Aber andererseits ist es ja auch eine Situation, die man nicht beeinflussen kann, was für das Will Future sprechen würde. Was sollte man nehmen?

Hallo,
das will Future, da unbeeinflussbar. Der Satz ist aber so oder so suboptimal.
A friend asked me if we could phone in my holidays and of course I said yes since there is no school.
Es gibt keine 1 zu 1 Übersetzungen.

Würde das so sagen, auf AE:
A friend asked me if we could talk during my vacation (school break), and of course I said yes since I am not going to be in school.
"since I won't be in school" ist auch okay.
