Ich mache gerade eine französische geschichte über einen non binary um meine note aufzubessern, leider weiß ich nicht wie die they/them pronomen auf französisch benutzt werden lol

In French, people have begun to use the pronoun “iel” (and sometimes “ille”) to refer to a nonbinary person.

Linguistically, these are a mix of “il” and “elle”, but they are so far yet to be officially adopted into the French language by the Académie Française.

Subjekt = they = ils bzw. elles

Ils//elles arrivent. Sie kommen an.

Objekt = them = les

Je les accompagne. Ich begleite sie.
