Wann kommt used to und wann use to?

Wir haben bald eine Klassenarbeit im Englisch über Grammatik und ich verstehe noch nicht, wann used to kommt und wann use to.

ich nehme mal an, dass du das hier meinst:

something used to happen = etwas geschah in der Vergangenheit regelmäßig, aber es geschieht nicht mehr:

 - I used to play tennis a lot but I don't play often now. (= früher spielte ich …) 

- Diane used to travel a lot. These days she doesn't go away so often. (D. ist früher …) 

Man verwendet used to... auch für etwas, das zutraf, aber nicht länger/mehr zutrifft. 

- This building is now a furniture shop. It used to be a cinema. (… Es war (früher) einmal ein Kino.) 

- I used to think he was unfriendly but now I realise he's a very nice person. (Ich dachte einmal (früher), … 

Be used to (doing) something - etwas ist nicht fremd oder neu für jdn. – = etwas gewohnt sein, an etwas gewöhnt sein 

- I am used to the weather in this country. = Ich bin das Wetter in diesem Land gewohnt. 

- I am used to driving on the left because I’ve lived in Britain for a long time. = Ich bin es gewohnt auf der linken Seite zu fahren, weil ich lange in B. gelebt habe. 

get used to something = sich an etwas gewöhnen 

- In the beginning, I thought I would never get used to the baby’s crying. = Anfangs dachte ich, ich würde mich nie an das Schreien des Babys gewöhnen. 

Ansonsten müsstest du eine Frage noch einmal umformulieren, damit man versteht, was du meinst.

"used to" ist Vergangenheit und "use to" ist Gegenwart. Ich verstehe ehrlich gesagt das Problem nicht.

Kannst Du Deine Frage vielleicht noch etwas genauer formulieren?

It may help to remember that the majority of the time, the correct option is used to and not use to. However, there's one exception to the rule: if the auxiliary forms did/didn't is in the sentence, you would choose use to and not used to. For example: Didn't she use to play the flute?

Es ist kompliziert. Oft hört man es nicht in der Sprache. Aber, wie oben, meistens "used to".
