Erzähle etwas über die Insel selbst - Größe, Zugehörigkeit zu welchem Archipel, Zugehörigkeit zu welchem Land. Suche Dir (bei Wikipedia oder auf der Insel-Homepage) ein bisschen was zur Geschichte (zum Beispiel waren die Inseln in der Antike und im frühen Mittelalter für ihre Steinschleuderer bekannt und deren Können auf dem Schlachtfeld bei anderen Mächten gefürchtet) und den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel heraus - und zu bekannten Persönlichkeiten, die von dort stammen - wie z.B. dem Tennisspieler Rafael Nadal. Vergiß auch nicht, die "Ballermann-Kultur" zu erwähnen - und die Probleme, die sie für die Mallorquiner mit sich bringt.
