Metal(/Hard Rock) Power Balladen?
Ich bin großer Fan von Balladen, insbesondere denen von Scorpions und Judas Priest, ich bin ständig auf der Suche, finde aber selten wirklich Gute. Am liebsten mag ich relativ melancholische/traurige. Würde mich über Antworten freuen. :D

Skid Row wurden zwar schon in einer anderen Antwort genannt, doch die wirklich großartigen Songs von Skid Row fehlen: Wasted time und Quicksand Jesus.
Eine der großartigsten Metal Balladen ist "Dragon Tears" von Dark at Dawn. Das ist Gänsehaut pur, vor allem wenn man auch auf den Text achtet.
Savatage sind auch wahre Meister. Meistens findet man "Gutter Ballet" als ersten Treffer, aber "When the crowds are gone" ist nochmal um einiges besser.
Wenn es ne Black Metal Halbballade sein darf, dann kannst Du gerne auch einmal "Sacred Divinity" von Agathodaimon antesten.
Von The Gathering ist fast das gesamte "Nightime Birds" Album zu empfehlen.
Eine sehr geile Power Ballade ist "Darkness within" von Machine Head
"Someone else" von Queensryche war ein Song, der mich vor allem in meiner Jugend sehr bewegt hat.
Falls es Dich interessiert, was Floor Jansen von Nightwish vor ihrer Zeit bei Nightwish gemacht hat, höre Dir einmal ReVamp "Sweet Curse" an.
Das "Vovin" Album von Therion ist insgesamt auch sehr balladesk und meiner Meinung nach ein Meisterwerk.
Von Warrel Dane gibt es noch den Song "Your chosen Misery" welcher zuerst als reine Ballade anfängt und dann immer mehr Energie gewinnt und dadurch eine sehr intensive Spannungskurve generiert.
Falls Du Dir die Songs anhörst und Lust hast, mir das als Antwort zu schreiben, würde mich interessieren, welche davon Dir gefallen haben.
Dir ist vermutlich klar, was für eine Band ich dir empfehle, aber ich mache es trotzdem. Die Balladen sind zu gut
