Hallo,
Hickory, dickory, dock!
The mouse ran up the clock.
The clock struck one –
The mouse ran down.
Hickory, dickory, dock!
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Sugar is sweet
as sweet as you
Dream as if you will live forever,
Live as if you will die tomorrow.
He that takes but never gives
May last for years but never lives.
Though the tasks are many
And your rewards are few,
Remember that the mighty oak
Was once a nut like you.

That wind I used to hear it swelling With joy divinely deep You might have seen my hot tears welling But rapture made me weep
I used to love on winter nights To lie and dream alone Of all the hopes and real delights my early years had know
And oh above the rest of those That coming time should (bear) Like heaven's own glorious stars they rose Still beaming bright and fair.
Ich fürchte, dass NIEMAND in der Klasse dieses Gedicht von Emily Bronte versteht, nicht einmal annähernd..
O rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm,
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm.
Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.
(William Blake 1757-1827, englischer Dichter; the sick rose)

Vorschlag 1: Down by the Salley Gardens (von William B. Yeats) - findest Du im Netz.
Vorschlag 2: Vicki Feaver: COAT
Sometimes I have wanted
to throw you off
like a heavy coat.
Sometimes I have said
you would not let me
breathe or move.
But now that I am free
to choose light clothes
or none at all
I feel the cold
and all the time I think
how warm it used to be.
Vorschlag 3:
Shel Silverstein: "Whatif" - findest Du im Netz.
Nichts gegen den Limerick von der "Lady in Riga" ! . Drei andere Vorschläge aber siehe unten,
Gruß, Bswss.
