Englische Bücher?
Ich lese gerne Bücher aber am liebsten in anderen Sprachen und momentan finde ich englische Bücher ziemlich interessant… habt ihr ein paar gute Tipps für mich?

Das kommt ja sehr darauf an, was du gerne liest. Wenn du gerne neuere Bücher liest, dann wirst du bei den Bestsellern sicher auch einige englische Bücher finden. Bei etwas älteren Büchern hast du natürlich reichlich Auswahl. Da gibt es relativ schwere Kost, die vielleicht nicht für jeden das Wahre ist (z.B. Shakespeares Werke), es gibt aber auch sehr viele spätere Werke aus dem 19. oder 20. Jahrhundert, die einen gewissen Anspruch haben, aber dennoch gut verständlich und interessant sind. Einige Autoren, die mir da einfallen und auch ziemlich bekannt sind, sind Oscar Wilde und George Orwell (Wilde: The picture of Dorian Gray; Orwell: Animal farm, 1984). Sind alles sehr bekannte Bücher, die sowohl für eine jüngere als auch für eine ältere Leserschaft geeignet sind. Ein weiteres ziemlich bekanntes Werk auf Englisch ist "The catcher in the rye" vom US-amerikanischen Schriftsteller J.D. Salinger. Ich persönlich lese außerdem Jane Austen sehr gerne. Da ist "pride and prejudice" einer meiner Favoriten. Allerdings sind ihre Werke schon relativ alt und entsprechend etwas schwieriger zu lesen als neuere Werke. Falls du Liebesromane magst, ist "Gone with the wind" von Margaret Mitchell vielleicht etwas für dich, allerdings ist es sehr lang. Ein weiterer Autor, den ich nur empfehlen kann, ist Edgar Allan Poe; von ihm gibt es sehr viele bekannte Kurzgeschichten auf Englisch, allerdings sind diese schwieriger geschrieben als viele der anderen Werke, die ich genannt habe. Lesenswert sind dennoch auf jeden Fall
