Hallo!

Ich schreibe morgen einen Test über australien, vermutlich müssen wir dann dort 20 fakten aufschreiben. Ich habe jetzt schon mal einen Text geschrieben und wollte fragen ob der so richtig ist.

In Australia live about 22.6 million inhabitants and is about 7.7 million sq km big. The capital of Australia is Canberra. Canberra has about 350.000 inhabitants. The national language is English. The biggest city of Australia is Sydney with 4.6 million inhabitants. Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain in Australia and is 2228m high. The flag of Australia is comprised of the union jack (the flag of Great Britain) , the seven pointed commonwealth star and the Southern Cross. The southern cross is a special star formation, which you can only see from southern hemisphere sky. The currency is Australian Dollar. Australian is divided into 6 states and 2 territories. Each state and territory has its own government. The stats governments has more autonomy than territorial governments. Each state and territory has its own flag, capital an own flora and fauna emblems. For examples: the capital of the state Queensland is Brisbane the flora emblem is Cooktown Orchid and the fauna emblem is the Koala. The Aboriginals live for 50.000 years in Australian. Today most Aboriginals live in towns or cities. The speak of the Aboriginals has over 600 dialects. Australia has very interesting sights. One famous sight is the Uluru. Uluru is called from the aboriginals Ayers Rock and is a sacred place for the Aboriginals. Uluru is the world largest Monolith with 348 metres high. Das Fettgedruckte muss korrigiert werden. Ich hoffe, ich habe nichts übersehen.

Ich schließe mich dem Kommentar von AstridDerPu an und möchte nur ergänzen, dass man heutzutage nicht mehr Aboriginals oder Aborigines sagt, wenn man von den Personen spricht, sondern die korrekte Bezeichnung ist Aboriginal People oder Indigenous People.

Die ureinwohner hiessen glaubs Aboriginies und nicht Aboriginals. Ansonsten ist er meiner meinung gut gelungen

Es gibt beide Begriffe: "Aboriginal" und "Aborigine" für einen Ureinwohner.

Und in Australien habe ich gelernt, daß man anscheinend den ersten der beiden Begriff als "politisch korrekter" als den zweiten betrachtet.

Hello guys,

Welcome to my blog about my time here in Australia. I arrived in Australia yesterday and my first impression of this country can be described in one word - breathtaking !!!!!!!! My parents and I were picked up by my mother's sister. Aunt Susie has been living in Australia for 7 years. We drove two hours to Batemans Bay where Aunt Susie lives. By the time we arrived it was already 8pm so we only went on a '' short '' beach walk. The water is so clear and we even saw a few surfers. Aunt Susie is a real Aboriginal fan. She told us a lot about the culture. But the most interesting thing I found was the stories she told us about 'the stolen generation'In 1910, the Australian government started to "steal" the half-caste children of the Aborigines peoples of Australia. It sounded terrible but I wanted to know more. Susie showed me a newspaper article, in which a woman recalled her time as a 'stolen child' But I also learned a lot about Australia. The capital is not Sydney, as I thought before my visit, it's Canberra. But Sydney has the largest population. I also learned that Australia is a land of fascinating contrasts. From modern, vibrant cities like Sydney or Brisbane, to the beautiful beaches on the shores, to the seclusion of the outback. Whether tropical rainforests, endless deserts or mountains, Australia is a vast sprawling country. I have learned that Australia is home to seven states: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Australia has a very rich wildlife with more than 5700 kinds of animal, from mammals over birds to fishes. More than 80 percent of all plants and animals are found exclusively on the Australian continent. The kangaroo, the koala, the dingo, the wallaby and the wombat are Australia's most famous animals, according to Aunt Susie, but I have never heard of the last two. What I already knew is that the beaches in Australia are perfect. Australia's coastline is almost 50,000 km long and is bordered by more than 10,000 beaches which is more than any other country in the world. Today we are having a quiet day to recover from the jetlag. We went to the beach in the morning, came back to eat lunch and then returned back to the beach in the afternoon .In the evening we played cards and discussed our plans for the next few days. Tomorrow we will drive to Sydney. I'm really looking forward to that !!!! We will then tour all over Australia and will visit places such as the Uluru, the Great Barrier Reef, Bondi Beach, more beaches and a few national parks. That will be so cool. I am most looking forward to discovering the Australien wildlife and visiting her big cities.

ich hab einen text über australien im englischen geschrieben , da wollte ich mal eure meinungen dazu hören :)

Australia is a country and continent,which is sometimes called down under for his position at the bottom of the globe. Sydney is the largest city in Australia with a population of about 4 million people. The opera house at the harbour bridge in sydney is very famous. Aussies love surfing at the coast. Most of them live in cities around the coast, so most of the kids learn to surf quite early. The waves are approximate twenty feet high. The longest fence in the world is the dingo fence. Its over 5000 km long. It was made to keep out dingos. Those are wild dogs and roam the outback of australia. The farmers hate them because they kill thousands of sheep every year. The bushmen started building the fence about 100 years ago. Australia is the hottest and driest continent of the world.Only a few people live in the outback.They call the loneliest part of the outback the never-never-land. In australia live animals , wich are cute and cuddly, like koalas or kangaroos.

Some other facts of Australian: The inhabitants of Australia were the aborigines. Aussiesnare very sporty too. They do many exciting and exhausting sports too, for example Australian rules football , which is a mix of football and rugby.Or cricket, this game can be very dangerous because the ball can be 150 km per hour fast.

Hallo, Ich muss in meiner nächste Arbeit einen Text über Australien schreiben und wollte mal fragen ob mein Text, den ich geschrieben habe, gut ist.

Dear ..., I spend my holidays in Australia, because my friend has told me, that Australia is very interesting. Do you know the History of Australia? The History of Australia is very Amazing, so i want to Tell you Sonpmething about the History. In 16th Century, the Humans Startes to arrive, but many People are died, because they have to Fight in blöde Fights. In 1901, Australia which is the smalles continent, was founded. Yesterday we have visit the Ayers Rock, which is also fallen Uluru. The Uluru is a really sacred place for the Aboriginies, therefore you have to show respect. The Ayers Rock is in the middle of nowhere, so it's really difficult to arrive to the Ayers Rock. Fortunately, there are a Pool in our hotel, because it's very hot ans dry. Today we want to go to the kargest coral reef in the world, which is called Great Barrier Reef. Do you know that you can see the Great Barrier Reef from space with the naked eye?It's really beautiful, the Blue water, the blue sky and the 2.000 species of animals. Another highlight in Australia is Sydney. Sydney, which is the biggest city in Australia, isn't the capital, because the capital is Canberra. I think The Most interesting sight is the Opera House, which is surrounded by water on three sides. So, Australia is a really wonderful country and i want you to go to Australia.

Ich muss in ein paar Tagen ein Monolog über General INformation about Australia vortragen.

Habe schon etwas geschrieben leider ist es noch zu wenig. Das habe ich im Moment geschrieben:

Australia is the world’s smallest continent and the sixth-largest country -Today there are 20 million people in Australia -80% of these live on the coast
The capital city is Canberra and not the famous towns Melbourne and Sydney -Sydney is the largest and oldest city in Australia and the most beautiful building is the opera house
The official language is English. -Australia offers extreme variations in climate, from tropical to temperate. -has the lowest population density in the world, only two people per square kilomet
They have 7 States ( Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania)

Ihr könnt mir auch ein paar tipps über die Tiere oder andere Sehenswürdigkeiten geben . Am besten auf englisch. Ich werde es dann übersetzen und meinen Wortschatz somit vergrößern.

Ich brauche dringend eure Hilfe weis noch nicht so genau was ich noch ergänzen soll.

Natürlich müsst ihr mir nicht helfen . Nur wenn ihr Zeit und Lust habt .

bitte nur auf satzbau achten nicht auf groß und klein schreibung und komma usw. habs nur schnell in pc geschrieben wenn ihr vorschläge für bessere sätze habt her damit :D

Ist das richtig (english summary stolen Generation)

**The Text “The Stolen Generation“ written by Barbara McMahon, Guardian News and Media 2008, is about the stolen Generation from the Aboriginal and the Government who wanted delete the thousands of mixed-race children’s. Zita Wallace told a sad story about her Situation of the “Stolen generation”. As she was a little Girl in Australia, one day the nuns came to her house and took her out. They Said they want to go shopping with her, but they put her and a lots of children in the back of a truck and drove away.

Zita cried a lot, she recount The government wanted to forget the traditions of the Aboriginal, so they stolen children to mix them up with white people, making sure the Aboriginal to delete. The stealing of children ended after 60 years in 1970. Now the affected people and families want a apologize from the government. Finally Australia is saying sorry for all.******

Verbesserung englischer Text?

Hallo an alle! Wir schreiben bald Schulaufgabe und wir müssen da immer einen Text zu einem Thema schreiben. Ich habe das nun mal an unserem aktuellen Thema “Australien” ausprobiert und geübt. Allerdings habe ich niemanden, der mir den Text verbessern kann. Könnte einer von euch mir vielleicht dabei helfen? 😁 😉

We all know Australia. It’s a beautiful country which capital is Canberra and whose biggest city is Sydney. The native Australians are the Aboriginal people. But Australia is also very famous because of the Uluru, a landmark in Australia, and the Bondi beach. But what animals can you see in this country? There are box jellyfishes, who can sting, and sharks, who can bite, in the water. In the outback are animals like kangaroos, wombats, and emus. In the jungle, you can find animals like koalas and snakes. As you can see, there are many dangerous animals in Australia which is why you should never go alone in the outback or the jungle.

New York City is the largest town in the USA and has the nickname BIG APPLE. Over 8 million people live in New York and over a third was born outside the USA. New York has five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. The most important is Manhattan. Manhattan has lots of sights. One of these is Central Park. The Central Park are 5 km long and 800 m across. The Central Park was 1867 open. The Central Park has every Year 25 Million visitor. Popular sports in Central Park are jogging, biking, inline skating, football, baseball and walks. You can there picnic and relax, too. One other sights is Empire State building. It is the highest building in New York City and one of the highest in the world. The Empire state building is 381 meter high and whit the TV tower 449 m. It has 102 floors. New York City has lots of sight, too. The statue of liberty is one of them. It open 1886 and is 93 high. The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of freedom. Another sight is the Brooklyn Bridge. The Bridge is 1,8 km long and 26 m across. It is one of the oldest Bridge in New York. Manhattan and Brooklyn are joined with the Brooklyn Bridge. Everyday 100.000 cars drive over the Bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge was planned by the German American John August Roebling. A sight too is Chinatown. In Chinatown live 200.000 people. The most can little speak and read English. It is a City in New York where only Chinese live. There tourists like to buy souvenirs because it doesn’t cost much.

Hallo bin in der 9. Klasse und wir schreiben in Englisch eine Arbeit über Australien und schreiben warscheinlich einen Brief über Australien wollte fragen ob die Vorlage so gut ist?

Last month I was in Australia and i want to tell you about my trip in Australia. So my first stop was the capital Canberra and it's the Garden City it's beautiful there. My next stop was Alice Springs and I was in Ayers Rock. In Australia called the rock Uluru. The rock is in the central of Australia. For one day I was in Queensland it's the Sunshine State. The capital of Queensland is Brisbane. Queensland has a wonderful coast and I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef I saw lot's of fishes und corals. I was in Sydney too. Sydney is the capital of New South Wales. In Sydney is a perfect weather and the opera house is fantastic. My next stop was Melbourne there many national parks. Melbourne is the capital of Victoria. So I was in South Australia and the capital is Adelaide there many sheep farms and I was on a sheep farm too. In Western Australia is the capital Perth. The most of Western Australia is desert. My next stop was Northern Territory and the capital of Nothern Territory is Darwin. Did you know that 1% of Australia's people live there?. My last stop was Outback there can be travelling very dangerous. Love Alex

The Royal Flying Doctors Service or short RFDS is a health care service for people in Australia who live in the outback. It is a not- for- profit organisation which provides health care to people who are unable to access a hospital or general practice because of the vast distances of the Outback. They come by plane and help the people or in many cases they also provide telephone or radio medical advice to them. RFDS is working 24 hours the whole year. The Royal Flying Doctor Service supports virtually all low populated areas of Australia. It can arrive each person of Australia within two hours. It has 53 planes at 21 bases across the country. Almost thousand people work there, a professional team. They using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, it has four operational sections, South Eastern, Central, Western and Queensland. Each section has a number of bases. Royal Flying Doctors Service helps people for over 80 years. The first flight was 1928. They supported by the Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments. The donations will be used in several ways to help the thousands of people who live, work and travel in Australia. People who are not affirmed must pay for treatment themselves. People who are affirmed don’t have to pay for treatment themselves.

Referat "Uluru" (in Englisch) - ist dieser Text so ok?

Ich muss in Englisch ein Referat über Uluru halten, ist dieser Text so gut oder sind dort Rechtschreibfehler drinnen, habe ich was Wichtiges vergessen? Mein Lehrer hat gesagt das er dann noch Fragen stellt, habt ihr Ideen, was das für welche sein könnten? Danke danke danke!

Thats the Ayers Rock, a very nice, big and popular rock. He is in the Kata Tjut Nationalpark from Australian. He is 3km long and 348m high. He is 550 Million years old. He was created by the Amadeus Lake and the layers of rock. There was a english-australian explorer, who explor 1873 the rock. He give the name Ayers Rock, because the prime minster was Henry Ayers. Its a holy place for the Aborigines, they say Uluru. Since many thousands of years they thing, there was a people, who was born from the earth. The people got two children. When they died, they become a rock. The Aborigines dont like to see that people climbed the rock. Nobody is allowed to take little rocks, plants or sand. When it is sunrise or sunset he is red, when it rains he is black. In Uluru you can see cavepainting. So you can see Uluru you need 25 AUD to pay. Every year there visited a half million tourists Uluru.

The city is 1.664 square kilometers big. Sydney was founded in 1788 and is the economical, industrial and tourism centre of Australia . The climate in Sydney is contrary to the climate in Germany. The winters are hotter than the summers in Australia. But the whole year is warm and sunny. In the winter is an average temperature of 22 Degrees and in the summer is an average temperature of 12 Degrees.
