Endung -id, -hydroxid, -oxid?
Hallo, als Beispiel: Was bedeutet bei Chlorid, Bromid, Iodid die Endung -id? Was sagt die Endung -hydroxid bei Calciumhydroxid aus? Was stellt bei Sauerstoffoxid die Endung -oxid dar?

Auf -id endet eine ganze Reihe von negativ geladenen Anionen:
KOH = Kaliumhydroxid (mit Hydroxid meint man das Ion OH(-))
K2O = Kaliumoxid (mit Oxid meint man das doppelt negativ geladene Ion O(2-))
Fluorid, Chlorid, Bromid, Iodid, Chlorid = einfach negativ geladene Ionen (F(-) usw.), man sagt auch "Halogenide" dazu
Sulfid = S(2-)
Hydrid = H(-), z.B. LiAlH4 (Lithiumaluminiumhydrid)
Phosphid = P(3-), z.B. Na3P (Natriumphosphid)
usw. die Liste ist natürlich nicht vollständig.
- id: ein Salz (Ionen)
--hydroxid (eine Verbindung aus Wasser)
-oxid (eine Verbindung aus Sauerstoff)
