Wie erklärt man jemandem aus Gambia, dass man eine Erkältung hat?
Weil er kennt das Wort "Cold" nicht. Wenn ich sage, "I have a cold", sagt er, "Oh. That's cool. Yes. It's hot here."
Wie kann ich ihm erklären, dass eine Erkältung nicht cool ist und dass ich eine Erkältung hab?

Hallo,
Ich würde sagen:,,I am Sick"
Du hast eine blühende Phantasie.Selbstverständlich kennt man auch in Ghana Erkältungskrankheiten. Alternativ kannst Du sagen:
I have a sniff and a cough.
I have a runny nose.
I'm ill from a cold.
I feel like a cooked banana, and my nose is running.
Er kennt das Wort "Cold" nicht.
Auch nicht das Wort "Hammock".
Dabei haben die ne Hängematte in Gambia.
Aber er spricht wohl hauptsächlich seine Muttersprache. Deshalb kennt er "Hammock" nicht.
