Was ist grammatikalisch richtig in Englisch?
Heißt es:i look forward to seeing you at the weekend oder i look forward to see you at the weekend ? Der Satz muss Grammatisch nur richtig sein.

Ne,das andere ist grammatikalisch inkorrekt. The ‘to’ in look forward to is a preposition, so we must follow it by a noun phrase or a verb in the -ing form:

Nach "look forward to" steht GERUND, also in diesem Fall: to seeing you.
Außerdem bitte "I" großschreiben, und möglicherweise solltest Du auch die Verlaufsform verwenden:
I' m looking forward to seeing you again.

Auf dem Blatt stand es genau so wie ich es rein geschrieben habe

Hallo,
hier hilft ein Blick in ein gutes (online) Wörterbuch, z.B. dieses hier
de.pons.com/dict/search/results/?q=look+forward&l=deen&in=ac_undefined&lf=en
look forward to ist eine der vielen Phrasen, auf die das Gerund folgt;
also Verb + ing - auch wenn die Phrase im Present Progressive/Continuous steht:
I am looking forward to seeing you. / I look forward to seeing you.
I am looking forward to hearing from you. / I look forward to hearing from you.
Da gibt es nichts dran zu rütteln und zu bezweifeln.

PS:
Aber I look / am looking forward to your visit / your letter / your call.

I look forward to seeing you at the weekend oder
I am looking forward to seeing you at the weekend
sind richtig, sonst nichts. Auch wenn es für deutsche Ohren merkwürdig klingt.
Ist das andere falsch ? Oder geht das auch ?
