Und zwa, warum wird Aoba Johsai immer Seijou (oder wie man das schreibt) genannt?

The kanji for Aobajōsai is 青葉城西.
The kanji for Seijō (青城) comes from the first and third kanji of Aobajōsai being put together.
青 can be pronouned as Ao (ex. 青写真 (Aojashin) - Blueprint) and as Sei (青春 (Seishun) - Youth).
The most common pronounation for 城 is Jou.
That's how Aobajōsai can be shortened to Seijō. As for why it's not pronounced as Aojō, I'm guessing that it just doesn't flow (sorry, couldn't think of a better word) as well as Seijō, especially when it's suppose to be an easier-to-say alternative name.
