Wieso ist ethanol hydrophil und lipophil?
Hallo.
Ich suche nach einer Antwort, wieso Ethanol lipohpil und hydrophil ist. Doch ich finde nur sehe komplizierte Antworten und habe nicht wirklich verstanden, welche Eigenschaften von Ethanol dafür sorgen, dass Ethanol amphiphil ist.
Weiß jemand eine einfache Antwort dafür? Danke im Voraus!

Ethanol besteht aus einer Hydroxygruppe und einem Ethylrest. Der Ethylrest (Kohlenwasserstoff) ist lipophil und die Hydroxygruppe (Wasserstoff-Sauerstoff-Verbindung) ist hydrophil. Weil Ethanol aus beidem besteht hat es auch beide Eigenschaften.
