ich plane in naher Zukunft eine Autotour durch Italien. Da möchte ich Sizilien nicht auslassen. Ich würde von Villa San Giovanni nach Messina fahren. Ich bin ein Freund davon, zuvor so viele Sachen wie möglich zu erledigen. Und hier stellt sich für mich die Frage, ob es besser ist, das Fährenticket online schon zu kaufen oder erst vor Ort? Ich möchte mich jedenfalls auf keine Zeit beschränken müssen, weil man es ja bei weiten Fahrten nie so genau sagen kann, wann man wo ist (den Tag weiß ich natürlich schon). Auf welche Schilder muss ich Acht geben, damit ich zur Fähre komme? Bleibt man auf der Fähre im Auto sitzen? Welcher Anbieter wäre am besten? Gut wäre einer, der oft fährt.
Wenn ich bei Google Maps die Strecke Messina nach Marsala rechnen lasse, werden für 350 Kilometer fast 4 Stunden angezeigt. Warum so lange? Ist ja alles Autobahn?
Auf dem Rückweg von Marsala würde ich über Catania zurück nach Messina fahren. Gibt es da irgendeinen schönen Punkt unweit der Autobahn, wo man den Etna gut sehen kann?
