Hallo ! Muss man beim Essay in die Einleitung die im Folgenden zu behandelnde Frage nennen? um Beispiel: .....Im folgenden Text behandle ich die Frage: Soll genmalipuliertes Essen auf den deutschen Markt kommen?
und: Ist ein Essay gleichzusetzen mit einer schriftlichen Argumentation, oder nicht? Was ist der Unterschied?

The introduction to an essay must have three primary objectives: Explain the context of the essay, Give the response to the question or the overall focus of the essay and the final step is Describe the structure and organization of the essay.
Mit einem Zitat oder Phrase beginnen ist immer gut. In der Einleitung muss meines Wissens (zumindest bei uns) die Fragestellung nicht vorkommen. Den Kern des Themas solltest du aber trotdem in der Einleitung beschreiben.
Beim Essay ist man frei - d.h. eine Einleitung ist nicht nötig, sogar unüblich, jedoch sollte die Grundthese schon am Anfang aufgeführt werden
