Was bedeutet pvc?
Hallo, also meine Freundin steht total auf Animes und so und hat sich vor kurzem eine sammelfigur gekauft und sagte es wäre eine PVC - Figur. Aber was heißt PVC? Ist das ein bestimmtes Material oder so was ?

Das ist der Kunststoff Polyvinylchlorid
Herstellung:
PVC (Polyvinylchlorid)
Zuerst einmal braucht man dazu Vinylchlorid
Aus Ethen und Chlor entsteht nach der Formel CH2=CH2 + Cl2 Dichlorethan CH2Cl-CH2Cl
Meist verwendet man dazu Kupfer(2)Chlorid CuCl2
also:CH2=CH2 + 2 CuCl ergibt CH2Cl=CH2Cl + 2 CuCl
(2 Cl verbleiben im Dichlorethan)
Durch Erhitzen auf 400°C oder Waschen mit Natronlauge /(NaOH) entsteht aus Dichlorethan
CH2Cl-CH2Cl Vinylchlorid CH2=CHCl und Chlorwasserstoff HCl
Das Vinylchlorid bestzt nun eine Doppelbindung und polymerisiert zu Polyvinylchlorid
CH2=CHCl ergibt -CH2-CHCl-
Das Kupferchlorid CuCl wird zu Kupfer(2)Chlorid und Kupferoxid oxidiert
2 CuCl + O2 CuCl2 und CuO
CuO ergibt mit HCl wieder Kupfer(2)Chlorid und Wasser
CuO + 2HCl = CuCL2

Ich kenne PVC nur als Begriff für Werkstoffe der Kunststofftechnik. PVC bedeutet hier Plyvinylchlorid. Also grob ein warm formgebungsgeeigneter Kunststoff für "Spritzguss-Technologien" in der Formgebung.
