Warum kann ich bei meinem Monitor nicht 144Hz einstellen?

Ich habe einen neuen Monitor mit 144Hz gekauft. Nun möchte ich gerne auch mit 144 FPS spielen. Wenn ich in den erweiterten Anzeigeeinstellungen den Monitor auf 144Hz einstellen möchte, habe ich ich dort nur 50, 59 und 60 Hz zur Auswahl. Warum? Mache ich irgendwas falsch? (Siehe Bild)

Über was für ein Kabel & über welche Anschlüsse hast du deinen Monitor angeschlossen? Was für eine Auflösung hat der Monitor?

zB HDMI unterstützt selbst in der aktuellsten Version (bei 1080p) keine 144Hz.

Das stimmt nicht.

HDMI beherrscht auch 144 Hz ab HDMI 1.4 sogar, nativ ab 2.0

Das Ganze ist noch relativ jung und wird erst seit ca. 2-3 Jahren von Herstellern, wie MSI, AOC und Viewsonic zum Beispiel unterstützt.

HDMI 2.0 is also fairly standard and can be used for 240Hz at 1080p, 144Hz at 1440p, and 60Hz at 4K. The latest   HDMI 2.1 adds native support for 120Hz at 4K UHD and 60Hz at 8K."

Installiere die Treiber für den Monitor!

Da steht doch "Standard PNP Monitor" ... Sollte da nicht vielleicht "MARKE XY 74999HD XY" stehen? o_O

Falsches Kabel wahrscheinlich. Für 144 Hz brauchst du DVI-DL, HDMI - neuester Standard oder DP ab 1.2 aufwärts.

Einige Monitore unterstützten 1080p@144 Hz auch über HDMI 1.4.

Kommt auf die Auflösung an. FullHD? Evtl hat deine Grafikkarte auch einen veralteten Standard.
