WLANs sind privat. Ein Hotspot ist ein WLAN-Zugangspunkt, von dem aus man kostenpflichtig mobil ins Internet kann.

HotSpots sind öffentliche, drahtlose Zugriffspunkte aufs Internet. Drahtlos heißt, dass per WLAN darauf zugegriffen werden kann.

Ich kenne nur ein W-Lan Hotspot, also Zugangspunkt.
