Basketball anschreiben 14 Sekunden Regel?

Hallo..
Mein Frage ist:
beim Basketball wird ja die Uhr auf 14 Sekunden zurückgesetzt wenn die angreifende Mannschaft, nachdem der Ball den Ring berührt hat, wieder den Ball hat. Wird die Uhr aber auch auf 14 Sekunden gesetzt, wenn es noch mehr als 14 Sekunden waren???
Z.b wirft jemand den Ball an den Ring bei 16 Sekunden.. Was mache ich??

Die offizielle FIBA-Regelung:

Rule 50.5:

"The shot clock operator shall be provided with a shot clock which shall be:

[...]Stopped and reset to 14 seconds when:

[...]After the ball has touched the ring on an unsuccessful shot for a field goal, alast or only free throw, or on a pass, if the team which regains control of the ballis the same team that was in control of the ball before the ball touched the ring."

Genau wie es auch mir beigebracht wurde, ist es vollkommen egal, wie viel Zeit davor auf der Shot Clock waren, sie wird bedingungslos auf 14 gesetzt.
