Es gibt keinen Grund seine Linux-Distribution zu wechseln, wenn man damit zufrieden ist. Viele wechseln und probieren ganz verschiedene Distributionen aus, ohne dabei irgendein bestimmtes Ziel zu verfolgen.

Was andere über Ubuntu denken, ist total irrelevant, wenn du damit zufrieden bist.

Manche Menschen wollen einfach ein System, das funktioniert, und sich nicht mit der Installation von Arch herumschlagen oder Stunden mit der Einrichtung eines Tiling Window Managers verbringen.

Ich selbst nutze seit Ewigkeiten Debian und finde es besser als Ubuntu, da sich Debian weniger ändert als Ubuntu. Mit Arch und anderen Distributionen verschwende ich nicht meine Zeit.
