Unlike usual filling stations, at automatic filling stations, the amount for fueling is blocked in advance – this is called pre-authorization. This is an international common practice at automatic filling stations. The pre-authorization, in your case EUR 50,-, is only a reservation. This will be released from your card issuing bank.

Once the refueling is completed, the terminal reports immediately the amount to your card issuing bank. The pre-authorized amount will be released and the amount what you have fueled will be charged. This may take some time and depends on your bank. Responsible for the timing of releasing the amount is only the processor of your card-issuing bank.

As operator of the filling stations we have no direct influence to pre-authorized amount or to your account.

We ask you to re-check your account in few days, where you should only find the amount what you have tanked. If you have any further questions, we kindly ask you to contact your card issuing company.
