Dear ..., London is fantastic! The weather is wonderful and yesterday, it was even over 30 degree. Yesterday, we drove over the Tower Bridge and then, we went to the London Eye. From there, you have a fantastic view, but it is quite expensive. Today, we were in one of the many museums. This was really interesting, but after a few hours, we were hungry, so we went in a nice restaurant. The food was really delicious. Dear..., My family and I are for 7 days in London. We did lots of things in the last 3 days: We visited Buckingham Palace ,the London Eye and St. Pauls Cathedral. In Buckingham Palace ,I saw the queen. that was very amazing. From the London Eye, you have a good view from all over London.St.Pauls Cathedral you can see too. Now we are in a Bangladeshi restaurant. There are very spicy dishes. I take a medium spicy dish.Today we want to go to the Leicester Square. Tomorrow, we are going to go to the Tower of London, there are the crown juwels.The next day we are going to go to the British Museum, which is free!! Gibt es in diesem Englisch Text noch fehler oder Verbesserungsvorschläge?

Dear uncle Lawrence,

Finally! We've made it to the adorable city London. Well, it's not really as adorable as I thought but I always have to high expectations. We are staying in a little hotel near the Big Ben. And theres my first point:

Big Ben is just gorgeos, I knew the tower is 96 meters high but I didn't know 96 meters are that high. My mum forced us to go to the science museum but the boredom killed me. I mean if you are a culture vulture maybe its cool but in my opinion it's as gripping as a bold tyre. An attraction which made my eyes really shine was Madame Tussouds. It felt like I am next to my idols but they are only waxfigures.

Tomorrow we are going to enjoy a London breakfast which includes duck and waffle, I would kill for these meals.

I will tell you the rest of our trip when we are back home again.

Dear Mrs. Weinbrecht, its very fantastic here in London. I love the city, because there are many interestings sights to see. Here it is always sunny and very hot. My Family and I stayed in a little, but pretty hotel for one week. Today its the last day... Im very sad, I want stay here :( In this week we visited a lot of sights. First my Family and I were in the London Eye. Its very big and high. We waited for the ride for 40 minutes. Than we were at the Buckingham Palace. The Palace is very nice, but we couldnt see the queen. After that, we went to the Science Museum. There we could learn a lot. Wen you are at London, you must go to Madame Tussaunds. It was very funny, because I took many pictures with the stars. Today we will go to St. Pauls Cathedral. This was a exciting week. I hope you are good. See you soon, Lena.

Englisch - kann man das so schreiben?

Ich weiß, es ist viel Text aber lest ihn bitte durch und gebt Feedback bzw verbessert :)

In the last summer holidays my family and I went to the Baltic sea. We got there by car and the car ride took about 8 hours. First we went to the hotel we wwereliving in. It had 6 floors and we were in the 5th. Later i went to the sea with my dad. The water was pretty cold so I only went into the water up to my knees. After about one hour my mom joined us and we collected some beautiful stones. Nearly every evening my family and I went skateboarding on a paved path. Well, I was skateboarding but the rest of my family walked. We saw the beautiful sunset multiple times. On the last two days of our vacation we wanted to see the city so we took part in a guided tour. In the evening we went to a big wheel which we saw during the tour. There were many colorful lights on it, which looked really pretty because it was dark. On the very last day there was a so called "Beach Pride Festival" and everywhere were LGBTQ+ flags. Sadly I could only see the preparations because we had to go home before it started. But still it was aavery nice vacation.

I`d like to tell you something about Tower Bridge in London, because Tower Bridge is one of the famoust sights in London. Here are some photos.

Originally, London Bridge was the only crossing over the Thames. As London grew, so more bridges were added, but these were all to the west of London Bridge, since the area east of London Bridge had become a busy port.

The big problem for the Corporation of London was how to build a bridge downstream from London Bridge without handicape the shipping to get as many ideas as possible, the “Special Bridge or Subway Commitee” was formed in 1876.

In October 1884 Sir Horace Jones designed the bridge, Sir John Wolfe Barry, 5 constractors and 432 construction workers build the Tower Bridge in eight years.

Two massive piers had to be sunk into the river bed to support the construction. About 11ooo tons of steel provided the frame for Towers and Walkways. When it was built, Tower Bridge was the largest bridge ever built, the bridge is 244 meters long. The style of this building is called ,, neo-Gothic style”.

Nowadays, the bascules are still operated by hydraulic power, but since 1976 they replace by oil and electricity rather than steam. When a big ship is coming along the Thames, the workers on the Bridge had to open the bridge streets in 9o seconds. This happens 500 times a year.

In the two towers there are 300 steps to reach the Tower Bridge Exhibition where you can enjoy a view from the high-level Walkways and learn about the history of the bridge and how it was built. The Tower Bridge walkways have specially designed windows.

LONDON

Today I want to tell you something about London.

London is the capital of Great Britain and England. The city has 7 million inhabitants and an area of 1596 square kilometres.

London is one of the famous cities in the world and the biggest city of Europe. The language is English. The colours of the flag are red, blue and white. Over two million people visit London every year. London has 33 parts. The famous part is Greenwich.

London´s climate is mild and damp. The weather is generally cloudy and foggy. London has warmer summers than most of the island.

The Queen of England lives in London. Her name is Queen Elizabeth II. She doesn`t live in a house, she lives in a palace call Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British monarch since 1837. Built by John Sheffield. The palace has 660 rooms, a park, a swimming-pool and even a cinema.

Now I tell you about the most famous sights there.

In London is a big bell. The name of this is Big Ben. The clock tower has a high of 97 metres. Every hour you can hear it. The sound is deep. You can hear the sound in the BBC radio.

The London Eye is the biggest wheel of Great Britain and you can sit in it and see London of another version. It´s 135 metres high but before you are allowed to enter you have to do a safety check

In London are a lot of bridges. The most famous bridge is the Tower Bridge. On a walk on the bridge you have a very beautiful view. The bridge was built in 1894 and it is 30 metres long.

Another famous sight is the Madam Tussaud The Madame Tussaud`s is a famous wax museum . It is one of the most popular museums in London. There are figures made out wax look like realpersons. It has over 300 wax Figures.

If you want to go from here to London, there are 880 km

Holidays make the life better

Nearly everybody go on vacation in their holidays. Fortunately, my family do this every year.

During my last summer holidays my family and I went to Italy to a theme park called ,,Luna Park”. The good things were that I spent a lot of time with my family and my brother and I rode several rides, for example ,,White Shark” or ,,Xtreme”. Another funny moment was when my sister was spat at by a llama. Moreover, I could convince my mother to go swimming in the sea because it was really hot in Italy. We had about 30 degrees Celsius. “Luna Park” has access to sea, which I really appreciated. For me food is one of the most important things in the world and that is why I was happy to see such good meals at the restaurant. Of course, this food was not cheap, but I think it was worth it.

But there were not only good memories because when we were eating in a restaurant we saw an ambulance and an injured child. I think the child had had an accident in the playground. The paramedics took care of the child and he was allowed to go back to his parents. Furthermore, this theme park was crowded with tourists. In my opinion, this destroys the pleasure of holidays.

All in all, I have to say that it was a nice vacation and I hope everybody will have such good holidays.

Liebe Community, wir haben im Fach Englisch den Auftrag erhalten, einen "Travel Blog" über den pazifischen Nordwesten zu verfassen. Nun frage ich euch, ob der folgende Text angemessen ist. Ich bedanke mich für euer Feedback! (Übrigens: Wir sollten die Reaktionen unserer Angehörigen miteinbringen und uns nicht nur auf Fakten konzentrieren.)

Hello guys and gals! Welcome to the first part of my Pacific Northwestern journey.

Our trip started off in Pierre, South Dakota. From the airport, we took a 7-hour non-stop flight to Seattle. It was my first time flying business class - my family and I were so excited!

Once we arrived, we wanted to find our hotel. Let me tell you, Seattle is chaotic - my brother was very annoyed by all the traffic! Once we put the luggage in our room, we decided to visit the Space Needle. Since my mom is a fan of city skylines, she really enjoyed it!

After all the huge crowds, we wanted to find some peace so we drove to a nearby lake. We hiked up quite a lot of hills and it was absolutely rewarding - a scenic view was shown to us. Some ducks were wandering around and I decided to share my sandwich with them - they were so cute!

After that, we went back to the city and visited the "Pike Place Market". To be honest, I don't really remember what exactly they did there - something with salmon, I believe. It was really fun talking to the people who came here but also to the people who have their roots here, anyways.

It was getting late and we decided to top the day off by visiting an exquisite restaurant. My brother was really amazed by all the unique steaks!

That was the entirety of our first day - it was lovely.

Hello guys,

Welcome to my blog about my time here in Australia. I arrived in Australia yesterday and my first impression of this country can be described in one word - breathtaking !!!!!!!! My parents and I were picked up by my mother's sister. Aunt Susie has been living in Australia for 7 years. We drove two hours to Batemans Bay where Aunt Susie lives. By the time we arrived it was already 8pm so we only went on a '' short '' beach walk. The water is so clear and we even saw a few surfers. Aunt Susie is a real Aboriginal fan. She told us a lot about the culture. But the most interesting thing I found was the stories she told us about 'the stolen generation'In 1910, the Australian government started to "steal" the half-caste children of the Aborigines peoples of Australia. It sounded terrible but I wanted to know more. Susie showed me a newspaper article, in which a woman recalled her time as a 'stolen child' But I also learned a lot about Australia. The capital is not Sydney, as I thought before my visit, it's Canberra. But Sydney has the largest population. I also learned that Australia is a land of fascinating contrasts. From modern, vibrant cities like Sydney or Brisbane, to the beautiful beaches on the shores, to the seclusion of the outback. Whether tropical rainforests, endless deserts or mountains, Australia is a vast sprawling country. I have learned that Australia is home to seven states: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Australia has a very rich wildlife with more than 5700 kinds of animal, from mammals over birds to fishes. More than 80 percent of all plants and animals are found exclusively on the Australian continent. The kangaroo, the koala, the dingo, the wallaby and the wombat are Australia's most famous animals, according to Aunt Susie, but I have never heard of the last two. What I already knew is that the beaches in Australia are perfect. Australia's coastline is almost 50,000 km long and is bordered by more than 10,000 beaches which is more than any other country in the world. Today we are having a quiet day to recover from the jetlag. We went to the beach in the morning, came back to eat lunch and then returned back to the beach in the afternoon .In the evening we played cards and discussed our plans for the next few days. Tomorrow we will drive to Sydney. I'm really looking forward to that !!!! We will then tour all over Australia and will visit places such as the Uluru, the Great Barrier Reef, Bondi Beach, more beaches and a few national parks. That will be so cool. I am most looking forward to discovering the Australien wildlife and visiting her big cities.

Könnte jemand über meinen Essay drüber schauen?

         Every school should demand school uniform

In some countries all over the world school children have to wear uniforms the color scheme and style varies from school to school. In other countries pupils can wear to school what ever clothes they choose. In those countries it could be difficult to introduce school uniforms, because they are not traditionally used to wearing one. In the following essay I want to discuss the advantages to introduce school uniforms world wide.

In my opinion school uniforms ind schools are positive but negative too because not every student have the same style and they cant decide which school uniforms they wanted to wear.

School uniforms are on the one side good because a lot of children are victims of bullying because some of theme haven’t enough money to buy expensive and nice clothes. In this case the school uniform is very practically and maybe a good problem-solving.

On the other side pupils cant find our style and have to wear clothes that they don’t wanted. School uniforms can be nice but not every day ,It quickly becomes boring .However, there are people around the world for which it is too expensive ,always to buy a school uniform. Children grow fast and because of that they have to buy an again and again. We must take into account that the school uniform is maybe expensive but the clothes that the kids need for school is not cheaper and they have to be buy again and again, too.

On the other hand if the pupils wear school uniforms there is not a difference between rich and poor.

I have come to the conclusion that school uniforms are not everywhere positive and children should be able to develop their own style. Cause the bully is not reduced by a school uniform.

Tagebuch einer Klassenfahrt nach London

Ich muss in Englisch einen Tagebuch über unsere Londonfahrt schreiben und wollte mal fragen ob jemand den ersten Tag Korrektur liest. Danke.

Dear Diary, Today we started our trip from ....to London. It was a long journey, but the bus was fantastic. We met in front of our school at 4.45 am. Everybody of us was excited because the day of the departure had arrived. At 5.00 am we started our trip to London. We drove through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. First we thought, the drive would be very boring, but it wasn't. Our bus ride was very funny. We sung many songs together, listened to music and played games. In Calais we took the ferry to Dover. The passage was about 1 hour long. The size of the ferry and the view of deck fascinated me. At about 21.30 pm we arrived at Maidenhead. All host mums and dads waited there and the students in the bus were getting excited. Everybody thought which mom is my mom?orI want to have this dad. We got our pogs and waited. We waited and waited. .....and me got nervous. We got to know our mum, Mrs. .....and her child, and drove to her flat. The flat was nice. Small, but new fixtures. In the living room our mum introduced her son to us and told about her family. Their son, is five years old and her husband is at the moment in Germany to the army. She herself comes from Somalia and lives for 7 years in London. Also we told about our families and the bus ride. At 11 pm .... and me went to bed. Everybody had his own room. It was a hard day for us and we only wanted to sleep! Although I am very tired, I still can't sleep. I hope my second day in London will be very good. Good night!

Dear Diary,

today was my first day in New Orleans and it was amazing!

It is very warm here in New Orleans. 80 degrees!!!

My dad bought a gouard banjo but it sounded awful. If he plays that again I’ll go crazy, I swear. Grandma Betty’s house is very beautiful and I love the plam trees.

I’m a littlebit sad that there aren’t any in NY.

On this morning I walked around the Frech Quarter. The streetnames are very intersting: they are French and I tried to speak them. It was very funny.

Also, I wanted to go to Bourbon Street but my aunt D‘Avila said that this street just is for tourists but I went to the street anyway.

I think it was very cool there. I even found a Jazz Band there. They played very good but actually I would love that they had played worse because my mom and dad suddently began to dance to the music. So I pretended don’t know them and just went away.

After this embarrassing moment I and my mom and dad went to the French Market and ate Gator on a stick. My friends thought it was disgusting but it was delicious! It tasted like chicken.

And after that I went home to my grandma again. I’m exited about tomorrow becaus that’ll be my first Thanksgiving for me in New Orleans and I’m intersted how they celebrate it here.

Tomorrow I’ll tell you about this...
