Ich habe auf meinem MacBook Pro 15 Zoll Ende 2011 mit OpenCore Legacy Patcher macOS Monterey installiert. Die Grafikkarte ist jedoch nicht metal-fähig, sodass bestimmte Apps nicht ganz funktionieren, die ich gerne benutzen möchte:
- bei Fotos fehlt der Eintrag „Mediathek“, nur erreichbar über Rechtsklick → „in Alle Fotos zeigen“
- iMovie stürzt sofort ab
- bei Karten und „Wo ist?“ wird die Karte nicht angezeigt
Wenn ich von der zweiten Festplatte mit High Sierra (letzte offiziell nicht metal-fähige Computer unterstützende Version) boote kann ich alle Apps (in den alten Versionen) ganz normal nutzen, nur geht das eben immer nur nach einem Neustart.
Wenn ich die alten Version der Apps kopiere und unter Monterey öffnen will, erhalte ich die Meldung, die Apps sind mit dem Betriebssystem kompatibel, bzw. bei iMovie werde ich aufgefordert die App über den App Store zu aktualisieren.
Wieso sind diese Apps nicht kompatibel? Kann man irgendwie trotzdem alte Versionen von Apps unter einem neuem macOS nutzen?
