wir schreiben am montag eine arbeit über participle clauses (9te klasse, gymnasium)
die participle clauses verstehe ich soweit, allerdings habe ich probleme WANN ich die endung -ed und wann -ing benutze. hier die beiden sätze:
As he didn't have any money, John couldn't afford a taxi. ->
not having any money, John couldn't afford a taxi.
As she wasn't asked for her opinion, Sarah felt offended. ->
Not asked for her opinion, Sarah felt offended.
Wieso ist beim ersten satz -ing und beim zweiten -ed? danke im vorraus
