In der Gegenwart drückt man aus, dass jemand etwas nicht tut mit: Person + do + not + Grundform des Verbs (Tunwort) VORSICHT bei he/she/it muss man statt "do" does" verwenden!! Die Ausdrücke in Klammer sind die abgekürzten Formen. Hierbei wird das "n" des Wortes "not" immer direkt angeklebt und das Auslassungszeichen steht statt dem "o" des Wortes "not".

I do not (I don't) z.B. drink you do not (you don't) he/she/it does not (He/she/it doesn't) we do not (wo don't) you do not (you don't) they do not (they don't)

In der Vergangenheit sieht das dann so aus: Person + did + not + Grundform des Verbs (Tunwort) VORSICHT in der Vergangenheit muss man bei allen Personen "did" verwenden!!

I did not (I didn't) z.B. drink you did not (you didn't) he/she/it did not(he/she/it didn't) we did not (we didn't) you did not (you didn't) they did not (they didn't)
