The Black RoseI was down on my luck ready to surrender until fate caught my eye.
In a sea of red a black rose shined brighter then the sun in the sky.
It was darker then a reapers soul but beauty beyond belief.
A manifestation of sorrow the form of all my pain and grief.
Should I leave it be or take it with me a little reminder of my insanity.
I could not resist I reached in to grab it but pricket my finger to watch blood flow out of me.
The Rose and my mind became as one forever linked in spirit.
If it dies my mind goes black I soon began to fear it.
With every pedal that falls another memory fades away forever lost.
Ive cursed myself for all eternity what kind of unholy relic have I stumbled across.
Now I'm back where I started forced to watch as the darkness grows.
Forever a prisoner to the temptation of the black rose.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Sugar is sweet
And so are you :)
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl is empty and so is your head.
