»Gänsehaut-Songs« sind natürlich eine sehr subjektive Angelegenheit, weil jeder etwas anderes damit verbindet.
Bei mir ist es »The Parting Glass« in der Version von Shaun Davey (Schlusslied des Films »Lang lebe Ned Devine«). Das wünsche ich mir für meine Bestattung.

Ob sich ein Gänsehaut-Effekt einstellt, hat bei mir viel mit dem Drumherum eines Songs zu tun....


Erstes Beispiel......: ich bin bestimmt kein großer Klassik-Fan, aber " Peer Gynt " in der U-Bahn und dazu die Reaktion der Menschen, das hat schon was.

Weiteres Beispiel....: ich mag weder Joan Baez nun so besonders, noch war " Silent Running " nun ein Oscar-verdächtiger Film....: aber hier macht es eben die Kombination von der traurigen Story mit dem Titelsong, bei dem ich immer noch nach Jahrzehnten eine Gänsehaut bekomme.

GORDON LIGHTFOOT klingt für mich sehr verträumt in diesem Song. Und kurioserweise erinnert mich diese Nummer immer wieder an die James Bond-Titelmelodien, die ja immer schon etwas Überirdisches und Mystisches in sich trugen. Grund genug um in mir zumindest "die Gans hervorlocken" zu können :)
