Das Lied greift zwei Themen aus dem alten Testament auf: einmal Moses, wie ihm die Zehn Gebote gegeben wurden und Noah mit seiner Arche. Beide Male geht es darum, dass man sich der göttlichen Führung verweigert hat. Dieses Lied kann als Warnung verstanden werden, dass man ganz schön in Not geraten kann, wenn man sihc weigert, auf Gottes Stimme zu hören.
