Moreover, I love shopping, particularly in online shops. I spend a lot of time on the internet to buy clothes, which I like, but it makes me a little poor too. Another free time activity of me is reading books. My favourite genre of books is thrillers. I like this genre, because the tension doesn't get lost and such the interest in reading keeps maintained until the end. At the moment I read the book Layla from Colleen Hover and so far, I like it.

In short, I am a responsible and efficient person with a variety of interests and creative talents.

In Olivias neuem Lied „logical“ heißt es ja „cause if rain don‘t pour and sun don’t shine…“

Vielleicht habe gerade einen Denkfehler, aber „sun“, also die Sonne, ist ja eigentlich he/she/it. Würde es dann nicht eigentlich „doesn’t shine“ heißen? Oder habe ich gerade einen Denkfehler?

Hallo, könnte sich jemand bitte meinen Text anschauen (vor allem Grammatik). Vorab will ich sagen, dass es um einen Tag in einem Bildungszentrum geht.

,,When we hadn‘t arrived yet, I was really scared because I had thought that it would be similar to my internship in March. But when I arrived there, I wasn‘t scared anymore because the specialists greeted us in a very friendly way. We all were standing there while the specialist was telling us where we were going to work in the following two days. I was in the maintenance group which was called cosmetic. I don‘t have anything to with cosmetic at all because I still don‘t paint my nails, wear make-up and so on, so I thought that it would be fun. When we came into the special room, we first watched a video about safety- and hygiene measures. Then we started working. We got a hairdressing head and curles because we had to do a volume winding. It was pretty difficult for me because I had never done it before in my life. Luckily, the specialist helped me and I did it alone after that! Next, we could paint our nails and do a manicure. I didn‘t do anything because I neither wanted to paint my nails nor a manicure because as I said, I am not interested in painting my nails. I was only observing my classmates who were painting their nails, yet it was very interesting because they they were hilarious. After that, we were allowed to wash each other‘s hair and also to do a hairstyle by using for example a hair curler and straightener. We washed X‘s hair and we did her a volume winding. Sadly, it didn’t work because we did it wrongly.“

The ending of Belinda’s story

Two days later James phoned Belinda.

“Hello?” Belinda said.

“Hello? Belinda? Oh my god! Is it really you?

Belinda was shocked. She recognized James by his voice. She didn’t know what to say. Tears fell down her cheeks.

“Why didn’t you call me the last year? I counted the seconds until you phone me, but you never did it.” she said crying.

When James heard her crying, he started crying too. “I’m so sorry Belinda. I lost your phone number. I tried to find you but have not been able to. Please let us meet. I want to see you again. I really missed you.”

“Me too” Belinda said.

The next day they met each other in a café. They talked for hours and decided to go the next week on a date.

2 years later the married and one year after the marriage they had a little baby. It was a girl and they named her “Amour” because it meant “love” in French, and she was the result of their love.

Should young people take Relationship advice from adults?

No, I stand against that, not because I think the older generation doesn’t know anything about love or Relationships but because this is a new era.

The world has changed in a lot of ways positively and negatively, teenagers now tend to start and end relationships over their phone, because its way easier.

Nowadays if someone knows your name, it only takes a couple of second to find Info’s about you. Like where you go to school or what your social media accounts are. And if teenagers find somebody attractive, they most likely ask for their snap or Insta, not their Phone number. People can also have way easier long-distance relationships over the Phone, no more weeks of waiting just to send a letter to a friend now it only takes a click.

I think in some ways the older Generation can still give tips, like on dates and things that haven’t changed but sumarised I think youre better of talking to your teenage friends : ).
